A few months ago in a moment of madness I decided it would be a good idea to rent my house out to people coming to the area for the Open Golf event. However, after reading through all the detail that would be involved, beside the thought of spring cleaning everywhere, the idea rapidly faded.
But..................I do have a driveway that would accomodate 3 cars and the walk is about 5 mins. to Royal Birkdale

MARCO PIERRE WHITE GLORIOUS SOUP

I have mentioned this range of soups before and this new ROAST SQUASH & ROMANO RISOTTO is certainly worth a try. The flavour is just delicious. Marco Pierre White is on T.V. this week in a new programme.

MARKS & SPENCER MARINATED ARTICHOKES.

Well here I am back blogging after a few days away with not a shop in sight, chilling out in the sunshine.

My welcome home present from a friend was a jar of delicious Marinated Artichokes which I have had trouble stopping myself from consuming the whole jar. I think they would be lovely mixed into a salad.

LEIGHTON DENNY NAIL POLISH

I like to varnish my nails but it annoys me when they look chipped so I often tend to just use clear. However this brand of varnish is the best of both, the colour I favour is "in the buff "which is a lovely beige shade ,and I have managed to keep two coats on for a week without any chipping.

They do also have a range of really lovely colours , one in particular is "So LA" if you prefer a bright shade.

FAKE BAKE & CLARIN'S DELICIOUS.

Now is the time of year when the shelves are full of self tanning products, they all look good but some smell disgusting, make your skin take on an orange hue, or take forever to tan your skin.

However, each year I return to the FAKE BAKE range which always works a treat. The colour it turns your skin is so natural and the smell is really nice. The body exfoliator is also worth trying as once again it has the most lovely smell.

Another product I like very much for my face is the CLARIN'S DELICIOUS SELF TANNING CREAM. Imagine a blend of peach, lily of the valley, jamine, cedar and moss all mixed together almost good enough to eat.
It smooths in very easily and immediately gives your face a lovely glow.

URBAN DECAY MASCARA

Big fatty Mascara's in amazing colours caused great excitement between my teenage grand-daughters. They fought over the Electric blue and Purple haze but announced them both winners. They described them as "cool" and great for disco's .
