Do treat yourself to a visit to the Food and Drink Festival. I went along to the launch event last night and it was so good. I tasted far too much of course but it was worthwhile. My first venture into snails was a wow from La Vie Francais the little bistro in the arcade, Southport shrimps from James Peet of Banks, and wonderful striped tomatoes from Flavourfresh who are the main suppliers to M & S and I have mentioned those in my Check out column recently, all their varieties on show tasted as though they had just come out of the greenhouse and had that wonderful smell.
Of course it wouldn't have been complete without John and Jenny from Boyd's Deli in Union Street. they had their wonderful cheeses to taste. Watch this space for chat about their cafe will report on that soon. Still waiting for your contributions folkes!!

Im going on holiday soon , would like to know the best place to go for a fake all over tan where you dont have to bare all. Any suggestions
Lesley
Hi Lesley - Glad you enjoyed reading about the Food Festival.
I just love Fake Bake and the new gold variety is even better, just buy the spray and its so easy to use. If you decide to be brave and go to a salon I know that Pure Indulgence at Churchtown and Ainsdale, and Chamelon in Hillside use these products and would be happy to oblige.
