PLAY DOUGH

Posted by Sandra Gee on July 28, 2007 9:53 PM |

School holidays in full swing so to keep the little one's amused by making some play dough using the magic of microwave cookery.

1/2 CUP PLAIN FLOUR
1/2 CUP COLD WATER
1/4TBL OIL
1/4 CUP SALT
1 TSP CREAM OF TARTAR

PLACE ALL IN LARGE MICROWAVEABLE BOWL. HEAT ON MED. STIRRING EVERY MINUTE TO MAKE IT INTO DOUGH. WRAP IN CLING FILM.

TO TEST WHETHER A DISH IS SUITABLE FOR MICROWAVE COOKING. HALF FILL DISH WITH COLD WATER AND HEAT FOR A COUPLE OF MINS. IF THE WATER HEATS BUT THE DISH STAYS COOL THATS O.K.
