I was delighted to be invited to the launch of a brand new product from the innovative Yaffe Fusion Art Company. This was to introduce a totally new concept to help people acquire a work of art using images taken by themselves.

My emotions were running high when my grand-daughter invited me to be present at the choosing of her "prom dress", it didn't seem long ago that she was in a pushchair ,and to see this lovely young person blossomed into such a gorgeous girl brought tears to my eyes.

We trawled the town and swayed between pastels and deep shades but in the end the choice was made so easy by the patience and guidance of Debra at Glitz, Ritz & Tiaras which is on the upper level of the Wayfarers Arcade.

I'm a great fan of this quirky modern makeup brand so I couldn't resist trying their new "ooh la rougue." It comes in a very nice dinky compact containing two complimentary shades, deep tone for contour and shimmer for softness. I must confess I'm not great with makeup and I just brush it all over my face! The colour I chose is creme brulee and it gives a really natural look.

I have a confession to make, I have never actually made a fish pie, although I am aware there are many recipes around, and its basically just a selection of fish in a sauce topped with potatoes.

However, now that I have tried this particular fish pie, which is part of a new range in the chiller cabinet in Morrison's I don't think I'll be feel guilty about not making my own.

It was choc a bloc with salmon, haddock and prawns in a delicious mornay sauce which was topped with fluffy mashed potates and it was the epitome of gorgeous comfort food. 30 mins. in the oven and ready to serve.

I often wonder why there are creams produced for different parts of your skin, surely the same cream or serum would work everywhere.
However as I am a salesmans dream, and I deeply regret not having paid as much attention to moisturing my neck over the years, I couldn't resist trying this new neck and chest serum.
The texture of this product is so smooth and lovely that even if it doesn't improve my neck area its a pleasure to use. Try it and let me have your comments please. Did it work for you???
